Rain and Wind

Rain, rain, rain and wind. Me and my family were driving to Gloucester when we saw treetops poking up from underneath water. There are still a lot of birds in our garden eventhough it is raining horribly.

Sunday 2 February 2014

Me, my dad and a boy called Sam were standing up the garden when Sam told us that he had seen a peregrine falcon. A couple of weeks later, guess what we saw a peregrine falcon! We have also seen a red kite.

Saturday 13 July 2013

Today me and my mum's friend went nestwatching at nags head nature reserve with with a man from the RSPB to guide us. we saw some pied wagtail chicks, bluetits and great tits. and also, sadly some dead baby birds.

We have got a slow worm living in our compost!

Monday 10 June 2013

A lizard wich we found in our garden pond.

A scarlet tiger moth which we have been looking after ever since they were caterpillars.

One of the scarlet tiger moths flew onto my head and then crawled onto my face.

How to Make a Woodlouse Maze

                                    What you will need:
                                    Lego
                                    Clingfilm
                                    Woodlice

1. Build a maze out of lego, remember to leave an exit and a start point.

 2. Put your woodlice at the start point, please look after the woodlice.

 3. Cover the top of the maze with clingfilm.

Remember to let your woodlice go when they have completed the maze!

Tip: If you want your woodlice to go another way,  shine a bright light at them, they don't like light so they will move away. This tip only works if you aren't in bright daylight.
